Such a pleasant stay! It was only a short stay so i wanted somewhere with a great location for easy travel and nothing too expensive. I booked my stay just two days prior to my journey and got such a good price. I booked a two night stay as i only came to London for a concert so I was after convenience and the best possible price. I did think as the location is so great (5 minute walk from Paddington Station) and the prices the lowest in that area that it probably won’t be that nice as some hotels are known for just selling the location and not really caring too much about the comfort of their guests once in the hotel but i was so impressed! The hotel is located in a street full of hotels, one after another, so the area felt nice and safe as there was staff on desks in every single hotel you walk past 24/7. I had a single bed room which was on the smaller side floorplan wise but as the space was so well organised it felt perfectly fine. The bathroom was also clearly newly renovated and everything was so clean and nice! I was also so surprised to find out that breakfast was included in my price (you can tell how last minute i booked as didn’t even read all the details) and when coming back from my day trip on day one, my room was serviced, which again isn’t always the case. I stayed in boutique hotels in the area that are double the walk away from the station and they charge extra for the room to be serviced on top of their alreayd higher prices. Staff were so nice and helpful from the moment I arrived and even prior to arrivial as i had a couple of questions regarding arrival so i message via the Booking.com all and they replied to my message within the hour. I was even able to leave my luggage there after checking out as i had about 4 hours waiting time before catching my train home and got to stroll around London hands free whilst bridging this time! And speaking of arrival and departure - Check in was 2 pm and check out was 11 am which is amazing!

Despite the 3-star status of the hotel, it left only positive feelings. I stayed at Orchard Hotel for 3 days in June. The check-in process was very easy, and the reception area looks better in real life than in the photos. The room was clean and well-lit, and the new, efficient lift quickly brought me to my floor. The room was tiny but spotless and well-equipped, providing everything you might need: towels, a desk with a chair, a wardrobe with hangers, a hairdryer, and a couple of glasses for water. While you do need to bring your own shampoo and shower gel, I was prepared for that. The reception is only open during certain hours, but the hotel itself operates 24 hours a day. Despite returning very late (4 AM) each night, there was always someone available to open the door for me. My room had a tiny window with a view of the backyards, and it was very comfortable for sleeping. The area around the hotel is clean, safe, and conveniently located. Although I didn't attend the hotel breakfasts due to early hours and mediocre reviews, I found a nearby M&S food shop just 5 minutes away, where I always had my breakfast. Lovely! I would definitely stay here again.

It was our third city break in London and we chose this hotel every time. It is a nice hotel within walking distance of Hyde Park and Oxford Street with small rooms but comfy, warm and clean. In every room there is one European socket so for a family it is best to bring another European plug adapter. Breakfast is basic - ham, cheese, boiled eggs, butter, toast, cereal, milk, coffee and water, no pastry, no yogurt, no fruits, no vegetables. It is the same every day and it is served between 7:30 and 8:45 - but everything is fresh and the coffee is good. The area is quiet and safe, with nice streets and beautiful old buildings turned into hotels. My daughter and I returned late every night and we encountered no problems. The staff is ok, not very friendly but ok - we were polite, they were polite. The hotel is really close to Paddington Station (we walked every time) where you can take the metro to Stanstead Express or National Express coach (A6) which goes directly to Stanstead Airport.

When I arrived I was disappointed by the very basic hotel room. However, I quickly changed my mind. The hotel is basic but clean with comfortable beds and the breakfast was absolutely fine. Plenty of hot water , and we had a quiet room on the first floor with a double door to block noise. We could also leave our cases after check out. Coffee was available just off reception but could not be taken to your rooms which is good for a budget hotel. The hotel is also reasonably central for the main sites. I read some bad reviews about the staff but I found them to be very pleasant and willing to help. They didn't have long conversations but I find that normal when busy. The small lady at breakfast was very smiley and welcoming even when so busy as was the day receptionist. This is a good budget hotel and good for a one or two night stay to visit the sites. Personally I'd like more comfort if I stayed longer, but if I was younger I'd have happily stayed a week.

When I booked room for 3 I expected a double bed and a single bed, I was very pleasantly surprised when we got a room with 3 comfortable beds, and nice warm blankets (we visited in November so the weather was rather cold and rainy). The bathroom was small but everything you need is there, we got fresh towels every other day which I appreciate because there is no need to change every day. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Personal was very friendly and helpful, breakfast ladies even offered to toast us our gluten-free bread. The surrounding is very quiet but public transport was also close. Stores with food, souvenirs, and restaurants were within walking distance (tens or hundreds of meters) and Paddington station is 5-7 minutes. We very much enjoyed the stay and would stay again.
